It’s been quiet on the blog lately, I’ve been nesting, attempting to rest, nursing two sick midgets then getting sick myself. It’s been crazy. I’m lucky enough to teach 8 classes a week at 3 different studios here in Charlotte and love each and every one, I’ve been trying my best to keep up with my schedule but some days it’s just not possible. I’m practicing as much as I can (which isn’t a lot) and doing my best to maintain a pretty healthy diet (though that may allow, burgers, pizza, and ice cream, always accompanied with fruit though ; ) The cure for feeling frumpy, fat, pregnant and just downright crappy is to schedule a photo shoot with Wanda Koch!!! (www.wandakoch.com) I have worked with Wanda for years, she’s the best photographer out there and so much fun too!!!
After the shoot (even though I’m 8 months pregnant) I really felt amazing! Yes I’ve gained weight, yes I’ve slowed down, yes my practice is a lot less frequent and a lot slower but I’m healthy, happy and so is sweet baby Lucy!
Catching up a bit: Jake and I love food, we love spending time together, and we love working out together and a few Tuesday nights ago we were able to squeeze in all three for Charlotte Restaurant week. Every Tuesday night I teach at Tryon Street Yoga, It’s a Gorgeous new studio located in Charlotte athletic club in the Duke Energy building uptown. We try to time it so we get there well before class starts so I can get a mini workout in before I teach. It’s absolutely perfect!
After class we got to try out Luce for the first time, it was fabulous! We love Italian and the food did not disappoint! It’s rare we get a fancy night out, especially these days but its so amazing when we do! Not expecting many of those in the near future so it makes it that much more special!
